Granite Dells is an 11 minute piece for Symphonic Band. It is quite "atonal", and some say it reminds them of some of composers Ligeti and Penderecki. The piece has sections containing color and textural changes, unique harmonies and pointillism, as well as fast rhythmic sections. The first performance is scheduled for March of 2009 in Oregon.
