The 2011 Anthology of Contemporary Concert Music is the first installment in a series of collections of well-crafted contemporary works.

This collection is designed to serve as a survey of exceptional contemporary music, written primarily by unpublished or self-published composers.

Represented in these pages are the best of the many fine works submitted. It is my goal that this Anthology will bring greater awareness to the fine composers whose works are represented here and help to expose original, contemporary works to a larger audience.

All selections found in the Anthology were submitted by the composers in response to a call for scores. Over one hundred works were submitted for consideration; scores were selected for inclusion by an editorial panel of well-respected composers.

This has resulted in the thirty-one works in this collection, which I believe is the first of its kind.
